| How To Get Past A Weight Loss Plateau |

Everyone who has ever been on a diet has hit a plateau at some point. It is that point where no matter what you do, you cannot seem to lose any weight. I myself have hit many of these and I am going to give you a few ways to blast through your weight loss plateau.
Depending on what type of weight loss plan you are on and how much weight loss you have attained already, these factors can play a significant role in halting your weight loss. You just need to see this as a maintenance point and keep charging ahead, while waiting to achieve your goals.
The first thing to consider is that you may be getting close to your ideal weight. I myself quit losing weight once I got down to 175 pounds. It seemed I could indulge a little bit and still stay at this weight. Now, it seems harder to put weight on then keep it off. But, I still need to stay on top of this because I know how quickly I can slip back into my old eating habits.
So if you aren’t already at your ideal weight I am going to give you a few suggestions that may be able to help you break through this barrier. The main thing is to stick to your plan. This happens to everybody and you will get through this plateau.
Mix up your program:
By this I mean you may want to switch things around a bit. You may even want to modify your program. If you have been eating all protein, then you could try switching to salads or all vegetables for a couple days. You could even try switching to all carbohydrates for a few days. If you have been eating all carbs, then maybe switch to all protein for a while. You get the point, try to shake things up a bit and see if this helps or hurts.
Eat Healthier:
If you have been losing weight but not eating very healthfully, then maybe you should try to nourish you body. If you haven’t been eating many calories or eating little or no vegetables, maybe try to get your body some extra nutrients. Try eating healthy foods and fats for a while. Your body may be missing something and this might be just the thing to get your through your plateau.
Start Exercising:
If you haven’t already started an exercise regimen, then you should start. This can boost your weight loss immediately. Exercise and its benefits can range from losing weight to giving you a healthier heart. There are too many reasons not to exercise. If you have reached a plateau in your weight loss, then now is the best time to start exercising. Just get outside and walk for 20 minutes a day. If you can run then run. If you can only walk, then walk. I guarantee you that this will help you break through your plateau.
Go out and eat:
This also could be a good time to just go out and eat whatever you want. This can help you forget about dieting and weight loss for a while and just enjoy yourself. One care free day of eating is not going to sabotage your whole plan. Just eat whatever you want and forget about calories, carbs and fat for a day. This may be just what your mind and body need to get back on track and help you achieve success.
Ok, these are a few of the things I used in the past to get through a weight loss plateau. I am sure they will help you as they have helped me. My main philosophy is to try and maintain your happiness while losing weight. If it is causing you stress by worrying so much about everything, then slow down. You don’t have to lose every pound this week or this month for that matter.
Think of it this way. The longer you take to lose the weight, the less chance you have of putting it back on. I have lost large amounts of weight very quickly in the past. I always seemed to gain the weight back just as quick when I did things this way.
Just remember to eat, drink and be merry. If you do things right you can be happy, healthy and at the perfect weight. Without sacrificing the things you love.

When deciding to write this article, I decided that I wanted to show all the things that not just getting in shape, but accomplishing something extraordinary, can do for you. If you are overweight and lose weight and get in shape, many incredible things begin to happen.
You see I have, in the last year, lost about 35 pounds. After the weight loss, I began to notice that things, once hard to accomplish, were starting to seem easy.
These were little things at first. I first noticed that I had more energy and looked better. But as time went on and I lost more weight, I realized that I had accomplished something I thought I never would. I had gotten myself in great shape, which has been an ongoing struggle of mine for a long time.
I then realized that I could probably accomplish all the things that I thought I couldn’t. So this really started to get me excited. I began to think of all the possibilities out there. I began to think of things outside of health that I could accomplish.
I assume this is how many people have become extremely successful in life. They probably reached one seemingly unattainable goal and had this realization. Then they probably decided to shoot for higher and more complicated goals.
The more I thought about this, the more I thought that my weight loss could be the start of an entirely new personality and lifestyle for myself. I can become a person who gets things done, instead of someone always talking about what I want to do.
Here are just a few things that have come as a result of my weight loss.
• I have increased confidence in myself.
• I have started a new company that is off to a great start, profiting the first month in business.
• Increased energy. I have twice the amount of energy I had when I was overweight.
• I have started a muscle building plan. I am going to get in even better shape this year.
• I have written a book, something that I have wanted to do for a long time.
• My self control over everything is much greater. This means with eating, my temper and many other things. I have much more control over my life.
• I am able to help other people lose weight. I have wanted to help people somehow for a long time, and this gave me the confidence to do so.
Well, those are just a few of the things that something as simple as weight loss has done for me. Just imagine what you can do if you accomplish a goal such as weight loss or anything that you once thought you could not.
This form of thinking goes beyond weight loss. This could be something as simple as exercising everyday. Or it could be making a to do list everyday.
Any goal or achievement can be used to catapult yourself and your personality into a different realm of possibilities. It can be used to show yourself what unlimited possibilities there really are in life.
So my point is this. Set a goal you want to achieve and do it. Have this goal achieved within the next month or two. It can do amazing things for you and your life. Then you can use your newly achieved goals to help you lose weight, make money, get women or accomplish anything else you want in life. You only get one life, so why not get started as soon as possible.

Is it possible to motivate yourself to do something you don't enjoy doing?
Let me illustrate with my own example.
I'm not a natural networker. I'm no good at schmoozing and talking people into doing things I want them to do.
I've been told that I'm too upfront and honest for my own good. I know its true.
So how did I land up in network marketing?
Well, I always wanted to be a stay-at-home mom AND continue working.
Now network marketing OFFLINE is not exactly my cup of tea.
My "warm market" would probably be cold to my advances.
Attend meetings? But I thought the idea was to AVOID the awful commute!
If I called a friend over, it would be to chat about college days - NOT try to "introduce" them to "my new business."
I'm simply not comfortable with many of the methods that are used to "recruit" people.
But I'm still managing to do a decent job of building my organisation.
I also manage to keep myself motivated enough to WANT to spend every waking moment on my business.
How do I do it? I found something about the business I loved - the internet!
Now the internet is a whole new ball game as far as networking is involved.
On the internet you don't get rich by approaching people who aren't interested in what you have to offer. Uninvited advances are better known by the word "spam."
You don't lurk in chat rooms - the real-world equivalent of street corners - and accost them (no matter what your upline tells you).
You find out where they hang out and then make your presence felt in those places - like search engines, ezines, discussion lists.
If you can write reports, offer useful information, establish yourself as someone willing to share their expertise - your prospects will FIND YOU.
And if you can find something about the business you love - something about it that gives you a RUSH - you will never be short on motivation.
Its my love for researching and writing reports that gives me the motivation and the edge I need.
With you it could be any number of things - helping people, interacting with others, making friends, writing articles, designing a website - all the things the internet is good for.
And you'll soon find out that if it feels good for you, it'll most likely be good for your business.

1. Accept your partner just as they are. Know that they are doing the best they can based on what they are currently believing. So begin by just letting go of judging them. This alone will make a huge change in your relationship.
2. Want the best for them. Whatever that may be for that person. It’s your wanting the best that is so very powerful.
3. Be useful. Take action to help your partner get what they are wanting for themselves. This is love in action. A way to make your love tangible.
If you follow these 3 simple steps, you will truly be placing love in the center of your relationship. This is the most powerful place you can come from to create the relationship you’ve always wanted. To quote Samahria Kaufman, 'The One Who Loves the Most Wins.'
