| Description | This forum is devoted to the discussion of techniques for identifying the date and subjects of old photographs. These include (but are not limited to) identifying the type of photograph process used, information on photographers and studios, techniques for finding other images of the same subject, stylistic dates for clothing and other cultural material. The photo section will have examples of dated images from various periods, and the database section will be devoted to collecting information about dated photos. Everyone with an interest in photohistory is invited to share their knowledge and experience. People wishing to identify old family photos or fleamarket finds are welcome to post messages and images. |

| Description | Welcome! There are so many great groups devoted to this subject that we wanted to make one slightly different. Here you will find PROFESSIONAL MODELS ONLY posed in either a white blouse or a man's white dress shirt. The sort of photos that we have enjoyed over the years in such catalogues as Sears, J.C. Penney, Montgomery Ward, Chadwick's Of Boston and so on. This is not a group for schoolgirl uniforms or X rated poses. It is for those who appreciate beautiful models posed and professionally photographed in attractive white blouses and men's white dress shirts. You may freely add photos to the group if you would like to. Personal photos are perfectly acceptable as long as they are professionally photographed. All photos must be of women in white blouses or shirts only. Photos should be no more adult than a little "cheesecake". All other pictures off the subject will be deleted. Thanks and take pleasure in the group! |
