| Description | Lakesedge Weyr is an approved fanfiction and roleplay club based upon Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern novels. Members of the club contribute to the club's EZine "Between Times" a publication that is released via the email list twice yearly. A well established club, the fiction tends to be character-centered and members are encouraged to plot together and co-write, though this isn't a requirement. The standard of writing is high, though being a good writer is absolutely not a prerequisite - we are here to have fun and enjoy writing and reading Pern fiction. Due to the relatively adult premise of the Dragonriders of Pern, Lakesedge has a lower age limit of 15. Both homosexual and heterosexual relationships and sex will be written about, though gratuitous detail isn't encouraged. Think tasteful and meaningful. If this isn't your cup of tea, then Lakesedge probably isn't the fanfiction club for you! |
